Makayla joined the LFAH team in September of 2022 after recently moving from Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where she studied Environmental Geography and Spanish. 

Although very new to the field, Makayla has really enjoyed learning more about what it is like working in a vet clinic. Makayla has really enjoyed helping in surgery, drawing up vaccines, acquiring sample for lab work, and meeting all the different kinds of pets that walk in our door.   

When not working at LFAH Makayla enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and snowboarding. On chilly days, she also enjoys going to coffee shops with friends, binge watching TV shows or movies, and cooking new recipes.
