Who We Are
Louisville Family Animal Hospital was founded in 1997. Our philosophy, “Caring for Your Pets from Birth Through Life”, is more than a statement – it is how we approach the needs of the companion animals that enrich and bring joy to your lives.
We have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 2006 - as we are committed to providing excellence in the practice of veterinary medicine by exceeding AAHA’s rigorous standards of evaluation.
Pets We Care For
We Welcome Animals of All Varieties Including:
Common Household Pets: Dogs, Cats
Exotic/Pocket Pets: Ferrets, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hedgehogs, Sugar Gliders, Rodents (rats, hamsters, gerbils, etc.)
We love seeing exotic animals and pocket pets as well as dogs and cats.
We are available to help owners become knowledgeable regarding the environmental, nutritional, and health needs of these very special pets. In the wild, these animals usually mask the signs of illness as a protective and survival mechanism, so it important that owners learn to recognize when their pet may be ill and bring them in for treatment promptly.
We also recommend regular wellness visits to keep your exotic pet in good health.
