Jess never fails to put her heart into her job. Her outstanding compassion for people and their companions shines through each and every day.

Ever since childhood, Jess was determined to work with animals. Immediately after graduating high school, she went to college to study veterinary medicine. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in March 2014 and joined the Mountain Ridge family that June as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Shortly after that, she became the Lead RVT and led our team of Technicians for several years. She was then promoted to the Veterinary Hospital Manager in 2021! Her love of animals was born early; as an only child, she found furry siblings in her family pets. She now finds companionship in her own pets, including an orange tabby kitten named Skittles, and a Goldendoodle named Cider.  Jess enjoys spending time with her husband, pets, friends, and family. She lists camping, going to “Doodle Romps”, attending country concerts, dancing, exploring mountain towns, meditating, and traveling as some of her favorite activities. She is a Colorado native.
