Laura joined our team in January of 2024. She grew up with a love for every animal she met while growing up on her family's farm in Lexington, KY. When not taking care of clients' pets here at LFAH, Laura enjoys spending time with her own animals – a Golden Retriever named Woods and a corn snake named Poppy. Besides animals, Laura loves hiking, car camping, and attending concerts. Laura graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's in Wildlife Conservation Biology. She previously trained service dogs for several years and is now training to be LFAH's Hospital Manager. Her favorite thing about her job is working with a great team and getting to meet everyone and their adorable pups.
